In addition to managing Russian Standard’s investment projects in Russia, Igor oversees government relations for all Russian Standard companies.

Alexander Samokhvalov

Chairman of the Management Board

Alexander was born in 1979 in Moscow. He graduated in 2001 from the Finance Academy under the Government of the Russian Federation with a degree in Accounting, Auditing and Analysis. From 2005 to 2011 he was in charge of financial units in large Russian and international companies, including IKANO Finance (IKANO Group) and Loyalty Programs Center JSC (Program "Spasibo" from Sberbank). In June 2012 he was appointed Chief Financial Officer in Leto Bank JSC. In October 2013 he joined the Management Board of Leto Bank JSC. Between 2014 and 2016 he held a position of Deputy President – CEO of Post Bank PJSC. In October 2016, Alexander joined Russian Standard Bank as First Deputy Chairman of the Board, becoming Chairman of the Board in May 2017.

Pavel Merkul

CEO

Pavel has joined Russian Standard in 2009 and was appointed to the position of Managing Director of Russian Standard Corporation and member of the Board of Directors of Roust Corporation in 2013. He was responsible for the key strategic projects of Russian Standard Group, including mergers and acquisitions, post-merger integration and business development, as well as Russian Standard Group's finances. On December 13, 2017, Pavel was appointed to the position of Global CEO of Roust Corporation. Prior to joining Russian Standard, Pavel worked with a leading global management consulting firm the Boston Consulting Group focusing on strategy development and execution, operational efficiency and business portfolio management projects for both multinational and local companies. He received BA in economics from Moscow State University and MBA from INSEAD in France and Singapore.

Yaroslav Zakharov

CFO

Yaroslav joined Roust Group in October 2017 as Roust Russia CFO. In December 2017, he was appointed Roust Group Global CFO. In this role, Yaroslav is responsible for the financial management of all Roust Group companies and production sites. Yaroslav began his career in 1995 joining the multinational FMCG giant PepsiCo. In 2001, he moved to AB InBev, a world leading brewer, where he worked his way up from a finance controller to the Finance Director responsible for Strategic Planning & Business Performance Management in Central & Eastern Europe. During his tenure at AB InBev, he also had direct commercial experience, successfully running Sales in the capacity of Regional Sales Director and National On-Trade Channel Director. In 2014, Yaroslav continued his career as CFO for Russia, India, the Middle East, Turkey and Africa at Kraft Heinz. Yaroslav received his MSc in Economics and Business Management from Sochi State University, and his Executive MBA from INSEAD/Wharton Leadership Programm.

Mariusz graduated from the Warsaw School of Economics. He started his professional career in the early ’90s in Poland, at United Distillers, Diageo and Polmos Józefów. In 2001, he joined Bols Premium as Commercial Director and General Manager in Hungary. After the acquisition of CEDC by Roust, Mariusz became responsible for the development of Roust business in Hungary and CEE region, resulting in a great performance of Bols, Royal, Jägermeister and Russian Standard Vodka on the Hungarian market. Starting August 1, 2019, Mariusz is General Manager in Poland.

Alexey Gulevich

Alexey Gulevich has more than 20 years of experience in sales and marketing in FMCG industry. From 1999 to 2017, he successfully worked his way up from Sales Manager to Commercial Director at Coca-Cola HBC. In 2017, Alexey moved from the position of Sales Director at Heineken Belarus to Vice President of Sales at Roust Russia. Since 2019, he occupies the position of CEO of Roust Russia. Alexey graduated from Vitebsk State Technological University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, received an Executive MBA degree from the Baltic Management Institute in Vilnius.
